Double glazed windows are windows that are formed by two panes of glass, spaced millimeters apart. Double glazed windows increase the energy efficiency of the building they are in because they are excellent insulators. They allow as much light to pass through as normal windows, but don't allow as much heat to be transferred.

Choose Double Glazing because:

  • Greater safety compared with traditional windows.
  • Greater security with their window frames and locking systems.
  • Conservation of energy. Good for the environment as well as the bank account.
  • Can be designed to suit you’re architecture.
  • Types of Double Glazed Windows

The windows can be framed in:

    Wood
    Aluminum
    Vinyl.

Wood requires more upkeep than the other two varieties and is more expensive, but is generally considered the most attractive option. Any of these will be fine for protecting the window; however, careful maintenance should be employed to avoid warping or other problems that could allow moisture into the windows.
